Welcome to First Note Music Center!
FNMC is a private piano studio located in Blue Springs, Missouri. Students from the ages of 4 to adult are accepted.

Ms. Stocksdale is a classical trained pianist and has been teaching for twelve years.  She has studied under Mrs. Christy Dolan (concert pianist, master teacher, clinician, and nationally acclaimed author.  She studied under Ms. Cheryl Kordes (concert pianist and concert cellist).  Ms. Stocksdale has also studied Piano Pedagogy under Professor Beth Gigante Klingenstein of Valley City State University in North Dakota.  She is a member of the Kansas City Music Teachers Association; having served on the Executive Board as a Vice-President.  Ms. Stocksdale also belongs to the Missouri Music Teachers Association (MMTA) and the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA).  Ms. Stocksdale was the recipient of the 2005 and 2006 Teacher Enrichment Grant!

Lessons at her studio concentrate on the practical, theoretical, and creative aspects of music.  It is her goal to instill the love, passion, and appreciation she has for music in every student that walks through the door.  Contact  Ms. Stocksdale today to start your musical journey!
